VARIABLE RATE/ MULTISPECTRAL

Healthy leaves reflect a lot of near-infrared light, which we can't detect but multispectral sensors can. So this (red to NIR) part of the spectrum is key to tracking plant health.

CROP ANALYSIS & VARIABLE RATE APPLICATION

We first map your block with a smaller drone and can create a multispectral map for detecting the health of any plant, then the spray/spread drone applies spray or fertilser exactly where it is needed for maximum yield from your crop

Multispectral sensing employs various wavelengths of light to capture data from plants, revealing unique spectral signatures. Analyzing these signatures helps assess plant health by detecting stress, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies. This non-invasive technique aids precision agriculture, enabling timely interventions for optimal crop management and improved yields.

MULTISPECTRAL IMAGING FOR SMARTER CROP MANAGEMENT

Our drones use multispectral cameras to detect crop stress that's invisible to the human eye. By capturing how plants reflect and absorb different wavelengths—especially red and near-infrared light—we can assess plant health with precision.

Healthy plants reflect more near-infrared light, while stressed ones do not. This data helps pinpoint areas with nutrient deficiencies or other issues, allowing you to apply treatments only where needed—reducing costs and avoiding unnecessary blanket spraying.

STEP 1

We fly a multispectral drone over the crop to find what areas are stressed

STEP 2

We process the field into different zones and decide on a spray or spread rate

STEP 3

We send this information to the spray/spread drone and it automatically applies the rate
